Aleksandra Słyż returns to Warm Winters Ltd. with a live rendition of the monumental closing piece of ‘A Vibrant Touch’, presented alongside Judith Hamann (cello) and Gerard Lebik (saxophone) live at CTM 2023. Extended thanks to input from Hamann and Lebik, spatialised and mixed binaurally by the staff at MONOM, here ‘Softness, Flashes, Floating Rage’ stretches past the 30 minute mark, patiently unravelling and unleashing its heart-wrenching overtones.

Listening on headphones on high volume is recommended.

This music Marta created, holds stillness and space just as much as it holds notes and chords, and it is in those spaces between notes that captured my attention so much. This music requires some patience and is for everyone, but I find it gorgeous. Especially when everything finally comes together on the last track, "music" with a choirs wordless vocals taking the chord changes and melody all the way to the climactic ending. Joe Borreson
